2010 1st Prize Winner 2010 Weipa Fishing Classic The 2010 Weipa Fishing Classic was held on Friday 11th - Sunday 13th June, coinciding with the Queen's Birthday long weekend at the Weipa Campus, Western Cape College, Weipa, Cape York, Far North Queensland. The Classic was run solely for community benefit, with all proceeds supporting a large number of local community and sporting groups. The Classic is the region’s most iconic annual event, providing sponsors with a significant opportunity to promote their products and services in the region. The Classic lures a large contingent of visiting sport fishers and 4-wheel drive tourists from intra and inter state. |
